Magnolia Place Staff
Our Vision:

Magnolia Place was created to provide a safe haven where recovering women can
rediscover and maintain their self-respect, integrity and dignity.
We believe it takes a great deal of courage to seek help for the disease of alcoholism and
drug addiction. We honor this courage by providing each woman at Magnolia Place the
patience and support she deserves to  discover her own truth and her inherent
worth in this world.

Jamie A. Foley is the owner and  executive director of Magnolia Place.  She is a duly
accredited Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II, professionally certified by the
California Certification Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors.   Formerly a film
producer, her own sobriety and road to recovery inspired her to go back to school and
begin a profession in the recovery field.

She was previously the case manager for  MAP (Musicians' Assistance Program), a
non-profit founded by Buddy Arnold that provided musicians and music industry
professionals with referrals, assessments and funding for the treatment of alcohol and
drug addiction. Her position at MAP allowed her the unique experience of working with
a great number of treatment facilities and sober livings on  a local and national level.

She was also the Program Director for Westside Family Services, a non-profit
counseling center where she specialized in individual, group and family counseling
sessions.
